Who is Gianluca Zanna, CEO of Zanna Records?

Gianluca Zanna’s musical journey began in Rome, Italy, where he spent his early childhood by the sea, enchanted by his grandfather’s serenades and the epic cinematic scores from his family’s movie theatre. However, his idyllic surroundings changed when he entered Italy’s prestigious National Boarding School “Convitto Nazionale” at just 10 years old. Later, he attended the elite Military Academy Nunziatella, the world’s oldest military school.

It was during his time at boarding school that Zanna discovered music’s transformative power. Rather than playing soccer like his peers, he immersed himself in songwriting, finding old instruments in the school’s attic and teaching himself to play guitar, bass, and drums. At the same time, Zanna developed a love for classical Italian poetry, drawing inspiration from greats like Ovid, Dante, and Petrarch. This passion for words and music led him to fill notebooks with poetry, which would later become lyrics for his songs.

As a young dreamer in Italy, Gianluca looked up to legendary producer and sound engineer Brian Reeves, who worked with icons such as Donna Summer, Giorgio Moroder, and U2. Today, Reeves collaborates with Zanna, mixing some of his most recent tracks, including ‘I Want to Know,’ ‘Storm,’ ‘I AM,‘ and ‘The Other Side of My Heart (Remix).’

Ayana John is a Reggae/Dancehall Singer/Songwriter from Barbados, West Indies. Known for her songs, Bajan Story, Guns ‘n Roses, Paper Chase, Do Bad, and viral hit, Pop Shite (200,000+ views on Twitter), she refers to her personal musical style as ‘a Caribbean feel with pop appeal’. She won the award for Best Reggae Singer in November 2020 by The Lady Flava Radio Network Awards in Connecticut, USA.

For the past decade, dynamic vocals, choreography, and energy have become a signature of her live shows. O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, Reggae on the Hill, Nottingham Carnival, MIDEM, NACA, and SxSW are just a few big stages upon which Ayana John has performed. Displaying a modelesque physique, Ayana has attracted Barbadian designers such as Nefertari, Pauline Bellamy, and Lucy Lui to model their designs on stages and red carpets. Holding a BSc. in Pure Mathematics from The University of The West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, an MBA from UNICAF University, a Diploma in Popular Music Practice from The University of West London, alongside a certificate in Copyright Law from Harvard Law School, Ayana explains that it was her mother’s wish for her children to all graduate from university. She states that she made a promise to her mother that while pursuing a career in music, she would at least complete her bachelor’s. Ayana notes that her academic experiences have gifted her with the knowledge of time management and its importance to her personal and professional life.

Ayana seeks to create musical connections beyond The Caribbean because she acknowledges that there is potential for major growth of her brand in territories such as the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the United States. Since Rihanna, the presence of Barbadian musical acts on the international music charts has been lackluster. The goal is to make a significant crossover to the musical mainstream with a strong sense of Caribbean identity. One early morning, Shane Allenger found himself scrolling through social media, quietly absorbing the relentless tide of daily news without waking his significant other. The pervasive sadness of the world weighed heavily on him, a stark reminder of humanity’s stagnation amidst its supposed growth. Yet, as he turned his gaze to his loved one sleeping peacefully beside him, he felt a profound sense of solace. This juxtaposition inspired Shane to contemplate how many others share this yearning for a safe haven, reminiscent of Peter Pan’s quest to return to Neverland and his loved ones. Fueled by this emotional reflection, Shane headed to his studio and began writing. By the end of the day, he had crafted a demo, which he eagerly shared with his associate Ben Hudson. Ben’s enthusiastic response confirmed the song’s impact. The accompanying video captures the essence of this sentiment, depicting a journey back to the ones you love, no matter where you find yourself—a true “A Sweet Dream.”

Shane Allenger discovered his passion for music and arrangement pretty much since birth, beginning a lifelong journey in musical expression. I think this work will give a special touch to my catalog because of the colors and the musical functions, I made a trip to the classic R&B and added a touch of Godspell without losing the modernity, the craziest thing about this style is that I did it in Spanish. I think it is a song that will be enjoyed very much (I already do) and I can even say that it is something innovative for a Spanish singer.

New Sam Brothers EP is a love letter to The British Folk Scene. The Kent (UK) based troubadour goes all in on folk in his most recent collection of recordings, aptly named “The Folksinger”. Due for release on Friday 5th April 2024.

After many years of travelling the country and further afield, supporting the likes of Nick Lowe, Sarah Jarosz, Speirs & Bowden and in a variety of live settings, Canterbury (UK) dweller Sam Brothers has announced the release of a new EP which will be available on all streaming platforms from Friday 5th April 2024.

Due to the fact that Sam makes his living from performing, whether it be on larger stages as far away as South Korea or closer to home in the darkest depths of Kentish alehouses, it made sense that this new collection of mostly original music should be a reflection of his live performances. It was recorded by Producer/Engineer Neil Sullivan (Chris Difford, Gorrilaz, Damo Suzuki) without a great deal of overdubs or audio processing.

The collection has a strong 1960’s Greenwich Village vibe, the arrangements nod towards Irish Folk music with Bodhran courtesy of Stewart Hughes and following in the folk tradition, this collection of six songs is thematically varied. You can expect songs dealing with war in the middle east, materialism and love, not a million miles away from some of the work of folk luminaries such as Bob Dylan and Pete Seeger.

The new 6 track collection titled “The Folksinger” is in Sam’s own words “….An honest representation of where I’m at musically and is at its heart, a love letter to a kind of music that has guided me along the road”.

A track from the EP entitled “Through The Dark” will be released on streaming platforms Friday 15th March and there will be a launch show at St. Mary’s Art Centre, Sandwich on Friday 5th April featuring original Rolling Stone/Pretty Things guitarist Dick Taylor with whom Sam has worked with extensively over the years. Sam will go on to spread the word about the EP around the UK and Germany throughout April and May.

Jammie’s creative artistry began after serving his country in the U.S. Navy as a member of the group VOR (Voice of Reason). Initially signed to the independent label Fayzomac records, the group released one self entitled album 1997.

In 2009 Jammie released his debut solo project “So Strong” which created a unique smooth R&B style blended with a gospel message. Jammie writes music that soothes the soul but provides you with an up tempo beat or as he calls it “Feel Good Music”. Influenced, by 90’s R&B, Jammie manages to keep his music fluent with today’s style.

Anastacia Bella

Anastacia Bella is a new hot and upcoming artist who is going to make headway with her multi-talents. She was born too older parents in Chicago Illinois. She had a father who struggled with work, family and music life. Her father was a multi-talent as well who could sing, Write/Compose/Produce and play guitar. Starting at the age of 3 Anastacia’s father was teaching her how to sing and write Iryics. As she started getting older her father put her in music and acting classes at the age 5. When her father moved his family to Wisconsin. On her 7th birthday he put her on stage with him for the first time, to sing for all the veterans. As time went by her father had Anastacia singing with him at venues in Wisconsin until the age of 11.

Her family then moved back to Chicago Illinois because her father fell ill. Her father and her stopped performing because of his health issues. So, Anastacia was only performing in high school musicals and with a few local bands. She went on to college and was studying to get a degree in Music and Psychology. At that time family life then took over and she realized that she had to put her passions and dreams on hold. A bit later down the road she decided to get back into Acting and Singing. As she started working in the Independent Film Industry. She decided to work both sides of the coin and is Acting, Singing and working behind the scenes.

She is a Producer/Assistant Director/Casting Director/Art Director/Set Decorator/Assistant MUA. In the beginning of her career, she was working on a film project, that had to deal with the famous mobster AL Capone and his love for music. She told the Film Producer that she sings and writes music too. So, the Producer asked her to write a song for the film and to sing it in the movie. While she was in the process of writing her song and getting it together. The Producer was telling her how AL Capone wrote music too while being in jail. He then showed Anastacia copies of two music sheets that AL Capone supposedly wrote. The story goes that AL Capone wrote those songs for his beloved wife while being incarcerated.

But as Anastacia was reading the sheet music to both of the songs something felt off. To her the lyrics seemed to not match up and she felt that the lyrics where not about his wife Mae Capone. So she told the Producer that she felt that AL Capone did not write these songs. The Producer started to be very adamant with her that he did. That’s when she took it upon herself to go investigate the matter on her own. To prove to the Producer that her hunches were not wrong.

She did some very deep investigations and at times would hit a brick wall. But she was so determined to find out the truth of it all. After exactly one year to the date that she started looking. She finally found what she was looking for and it got her in the Boston Globe Newspaper on May 19, 2018. With the headlines saying “They finally got AL Capone for tax evasion. But what about Plagiarism”? Anastacia had exposed the famouse mobster AL Capone for Plagiarism. She achieved what no historian has ever done.

A lot of other historians have thought that he did write those songs. So, from this achievement it in turn has given her Celebrity status. A year later the Pandemic hit and then she met Pop Star Gene Roberts on Facebook. Anastacia Bella found out that they share a lot of the same qualities and talents. She views Pop Star Gene Roberts to have a very dynamic and unique way with his music. So, after conversing with each other they decided to get together. To form Eugana Records LLC and to wow the world with their music.

Gene Roberts is a well-known artist in the Music Industry making a huge comeback with his multi-Talents. Pop star Singer-Songwriter/Producer/Composer Gene Roberts grew up In the Bronx, New York. He started playing music at the age of seven years old. Gene became a fast learner and started to wow people with his creative talent. Then he started working with local bands, at the age of 13. A small record label called Saunder Records seen him perform and picked him up. Gene Roberts went on to record his first album with that label.

Some of his songs from that album had made radio airplay during that time. As time went on he then got picked up agian by a major label, called Mercury Records. During that time two singles of his where released by the Label. The one song called “The One You Love” made gold. With his newly found fame he was determined to become a household name. Later on he left Mercury Records to pursue his career with a different label called Val Records LLC. The owner of Val Records LLC, Virginia Ann Lomnicki also became Gene Roberts personal manager. In 2009 he made an album called “WaterRain” and that too went gold for him.

It went on various major radio stations like Power 105.1 Fm, Hot 97 and other radio stations. He also got the privilege to perform his hit songs live on the radio. For a radio DJ at the Bowery Poetry club in New York City. The three songs that went gold for him on that album are, “Your Undercover”, Is It Love, and Your The One. The song “Your The One” became a well-known jingle on t.v. Statewide. The Campbell’s soup company picked it up and used it in their Heart and Harty commercial for two years. His fame got him a chance to appear on the Dave Letterman show and the Apolo in Harlem. His career at that time started to take off even higher than ever. He then started to act in movies and played alongside famouse A-list actors like, Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks. That film was called “The Papers”.

Also he was acting on various television shows like “Law and Order” special victims unit. Blue Bloods and Daredevil just to name a few. In 2020 he left Val Records LLC/Val management to co-create Eugana Records LLC. During that time, he met Anastacia Bella and found out that they share a lot of the same passions. Gene Roberts thinks that Anastacia Bella has a very cool and edgy sense of music style. So, after some collaborating and expressing how they appreciate one another’s Singing/Writing abilities. They decided to partner up and show the world their unique flavor.

This project was only made possible with the assistance of his collaborators.
