Oasis Set to Reunite: 14 UK and Ireland Shows Announced for 2025
Oasis, the iconic British guitar band that defined a generation, has officially announced their long-awaited reunion, marking a monumental moment in music history. After years of public feuding, brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher have made peace, paving the way for the band’s return to the stage. The announcement confirms that Oasis will play 14 shows across the UK and Ireland next summer, with tickets set to go on sale this Saturday.
This reunion comes 15 years after the band’s dramatic breakup in 2009, following a heated backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. The timing is particularly special, as next year also marks the 30th anniversary of their seminal album, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory, which catapulted them to international stardom.
Hints of the reunion began to surface when a cryptic clip in the signature font and style of Oasis’s famous logo appeared on the brothers’ social media accounts, as well as on the official Oasis page. The video displayed the date “27.08.24” before flickering to reveal “8am,” sending fans into a frenzy. This teaser was also projected at the end of Liam Gallagher’s Reading Festival performance, part of his Definitely Maybe tour.
Fans of the Manchester rock legends have long pleaded for a reunion, hoping to once again hear live renditions of classics like “Supersonic’, “Wonderwall,” “Don’t Look Back In Anger,” and “Champagne Supernova.” Now, their wishes have been granted, as the band gears up for what promises to be an unforgettable series of gigs in London, Manchester, and beyond next summer.
